It’s that time of year when the cultural zeitgeist of the American fall grabs the attention of communities across the country. You have your Friday Night Lights in high school, your tailgates and day games in college, and the traditional big NFL Sundays complete with a bountiful feast of calorie rich delights. 

Football has become the unofficial national sport. So, what happens when this sport that has become so tied with the American identity goes international? 

For the third episode in our mini series, Latinos en la Grada, I want to introduce you to Hispanic fans from across South America who have built communities filled with fellow fans that have switched their passions from “futbol” to “football”
