Everyone Is A Fan

That’s me on the left; That’s also me on the right.

Growing up in New England, I’ve been able to see firsthand the power that sports has in uniting people from all background under one banner. I spent my high school days in the pep band, my college years leading the student section for our hockey program, and my graduate year studying the relationships between fans and their team.

Yet, as I began research in my graduate year, I began to see how we are beginning to lose the communal nature of sports fandom that we all grew up with. As we become a more digital society, we are starting to shift towards a world where the group of fans you used to meet at tailgates and in your section of seats are now spread across different digital platforms and forums.

This show is an attempt to recreate that communal nature for a digital world, and introduce you to the fans that make the games we love even sweeter.

I hope you join us for the ride.
