Episode 13: Latinos en la Grada: Unidos Por El Alma de Oakland (Latinos in the Stands: United for the Soul of Oakland)

I’ve spent a lot of time this past week, thinking about some friends in Oakland. Every time I’ve opened up my Twitter feed, I’ve been greeted with poignant and somber stories of Athletic fans across the country mourning what is going to be the final homestand for their team in the MLB.

Every story about this move has been covered from every possible angle: the finances, the stadium deals, the development projects that were never passed, and the history that was just being thrown aside for the sake of a bigger payday. However, this episode is not going to cover any of that.
