Heart of a Fan Partners with the Pro Football Ultimate Fan Association (PFUFA) to Celebrate and Strengthen Fan Communities
Fans aren’t just spectators—they’re the heartbeat of sports. That belief is the driving force behind the podcast Heart of a Fan. Today, we are proud to announce a new partnership with the Pro Football Ultimate Fan Association (PFUFA), a group celebrated for its unwavering passion for the NFL and its dedication to building thriving fan communities.
For years, PFUFA has united football fans through initiatives like the NFL Fan of the Year program and charitable efforts with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and the J. Babe Stern Community Center. This partnership will celebrate the incredible impact of PFUFA members and the organization’s work within the sports community. At its heart, this collaboration highlights the strength and unity of fan communities, ensuring their stories take center stage.
Matthew Barry, host and producer of Heart of a Fan, shared his excitement for the partnership:
"When we launched our partnership program to highlight and connect more fan communities, we knew we needed a partner with a proven history of uniting fans. The PFUFA was the perfect choice. Their establishment in 1999 by Kansas City Chiefs fan Monte Short (KC Arrowman), with the goal of connecting superfans across the NFL, perfectly aligns with our mission to celebrate fan communities and give back. We’re honored to work with them and excited to share their members’ stories with the world."
Christie Lopez, President of PFUFA, reflected on the partnership’s potential:
"Our group has always been about more than just cheering for our teams; it’s about creating a community where we can support by giving back. Partnering with Heart of a Fan gives us the chance to amplify our voices, share our journey, and explore new ways to connect with fans near and far"
