Episode 1: Rooting For Oakland

I first met Jorge and the Oakland 68s in early January, as the research for this project was starting to take shape. I was somewhat familiar with their work in their "Save The As" movement, as MLB has just voted on the team's relocation to Las Vegas. What I would come to learn about them is the incredible work this organization does in celebrating and uplifting their community in all facets. While cheering on their sports teams may be part of what they do, their main calling card is based in the work they do to support their community.
